The Virginia Choral Society

VCS frequently sponsors trips to various locales in Europe.  Mr. James Powers, our Artistic Director organizes each trip and joins you on the trip.  The next trip is a delightful tour of southern France.


You are invited to join VCS members and non-members on our guided tour to locations in southern France and Andorra.

 

This  trip commences on Monday, July 6, 2009 (departing from your local airport) and departs via Atlanta, GA.  The trip ends on Monday, July 20, 2009, a 14 day itinerary.

Itinerary:

July 6: Depart local airport, connect to Air France flight departing Atlanta to Paris.

July 7: Arrive Paris, transfer flight to Marseille and bus transfer to Arles.

July 8: Tour to Camargue, return to Arles

July 9: Tour to Avignon, return to Arles

July 10: Tour to Les Baux-de-Provence, Nimes, return to Arles

July 11: Depart Arles to Montellier and Carcassonne, overnight in Carcassonne.

July 12: Tour Carcassonne, overnight in Carcassone.

July 13: Tour to Andorra, return to Carcassone.

July 14: Depart Carcassone to Albi and Millau, ovenight in Millau.

July 15: Depart Millau to Tran Gorges and Orange, overnight in Orange.

July 16: Depart Orange to Aix en Provence, overnight in Aix en Provence.

July 17: Tour Luberon, return to Aix en Provence.

July 18: Tour Grasse, Cannes, return to Aix en Provence.

July 19: Tour Cassis, return to Aix en Provence for farewell dinner and to prepare for departure via Air France flight from Marseille to Paris the next day.

July 20: Depart Paris via Air France to Atlanta, GA.  Same day, depart Atlanta to local airports.
