Our Contributors
The People Who Make VCS Possible

Ticket sales provide only a small portion of the funds needed to operate the Virginia Choral Society. We rely on the generosity of individuals, corporations, and grants from Arts Commissions for the bulk of our operating expenses.

In addition to contributions for operating expenses, VCS is interested in individual and corporate support for its endowment fund, in which principal is invested and only earnings are expended. Your contribution to the endowment fund is a gift that keeps on giving!

Individual Contributors

Individual contributors are the mainstay of VCS support. Individuals donating $25.00 or more will be listed in concert programs for one year from the time of their donation unless they request anonymity. Individuals contribution categories are:

• Director's Circle -- $500 or more
• Benefactor -- $300 to $499
• Patron -- $100 to 299
• Sponsor -- $50 to $99
• Friend -- $25 to $49
• Donor -- Under $25

Corporate Contributors

Corporate contributors are listed in programs for one year from the time they contribute. Concert Underwriters are recognized on the title page of concert programs as well as in all concert advertising.
