The VIRGINIA CHORAL SOCIETY
Auditions

By appointment only

January 7 (9:00) and January 9 (7:00pm)

VCS  generally has positions available for sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. Applicants must have a love for all kinds of music. Formal auditions for each concert year (August-May) are held twice yearly in early August and January with our Artistic Director. Candidates for membership must be able to read music and possess an accurate and good command of their voice. Membership requires a commitment to rehearsals on Monday night and a willingness to work on the music outside rehearsals.

All interested singers should contact Patricia Fielding, our Auditions Coordinator, using the link below. Auditions, when scheduled, are at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 6807 Huntington Avenue, Newport News, VA.   Candidates for auditions should be prepared to commit to regular Monday evening rehearsals (from 7:30pm to 10:00pm).

Applications for auditions for the new concert year are being accepted.    The next auditions are scheduled for January 7 and January 9 All voice parts sought, high school age and adult. No prepared piece required. Those interested should contact Patrica Fielding.
