Diane Meier Snider is the
Director of Music and Organist at First United Church of Christ,
Hampton, and Adjunct Instructor of Music Appreciation at Thomas Nelson
Community College. She accompanies for voice students at the College of
William and Mary and teaches private piano and organ students. She
holds both the Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Organ Performance
from Westminster Choir College, where she studied organ with Joan
Lippincott and Eugene Roan. As accompanist to the Westminster Oratorio
Choir, she was privileged to work with noted Haydn scholar, H. C.
Robbins Landon, and jazz musician Dave Brubeck. Ms. Snider also studied
organ with Marie-Claire Alain at the Conservatoire National de Rιgion in
Rueil-Malmaison, France, and has given numerous recitals as both solo
artist and accompanist. Ms.
Snider is a member of the American Guild of Organists and has had
articles published in
The American Organist and the
Choristers Guild Letters.
